Audio-Reader: Sharing the Gift of Sight Through Sound
The Audio-Reader Network is an audio information service for blind, visually impaired, and print disabled individuals. Audio-Reader fosters independence by providing access to information and the arts for people who have difficulty reading standard print due to vision loss, physical or learning disability, mobility challenges, and age.
We read newspapers, magazines and books on the air and on the internet, 24 hours a day, and we offer on demand newspaper readings by telephone. Our special request service allows individuals to make documents, textbooks and other print materials accessible to those who have difficulty reading standard print. Services are free of charge to anyone who is unable to read standard printed material due to blindness, visual impairment or another disability.
